The Broad View
Generation Inspiration is a Summer Leadership Academy, scholarship and community service organization based out of Gainesville High School. We are an umbrella organization with the Educational Foundation of Beulah Rucker. Generation Inspiration is a year round, - student run nonprofit that works to clean up the Gainesville, GA community and promote success for the youth of Gainesville High School.
Through various acts of service like feeding/clothing the homeless, partnering with the Gainesville Police Department to clean up graffiti (Project Un-Tag Gainesville), helping underprivileged children, building stronger ties with members of the community, and most specifically facilitating young success through our Summer Leadership Academy; we directly contribute to the health and well-being of the Gainesville – Hall County Community.
Generation Inspiration Summer Leadership Academy
Generation Inspiration Summer Leadership Academy is an 8 week program (8 consecutive Saturdays) designed to bring out the best in Gainesville High School students of all shapes and sizes and from all walks of life. The academy teaches students the importance of local history & giving back to your community, soft skills like networking, life skills such as time management, leadership essentials, public speaking and more.
The Future of Generation Inspiration's Summer Leadership Academy
Generation Inspiration's vision for the future of our Leadership Academy is to provide the next step for youth beyond just Gainesville, GA. We are always looking for communities ready to open a chapter in their area.
Starting a Generation Inspiration Program in your community requires 3 basic things:
Support from your local high school administration.
Seasoned volunteers with experience in training youth.
A consistent location for your summer program.

Generation Inspiration Board of Young Leaders
Generation Inspiration is a year round student-run nonprofit. Which means that before and after our annual Summer Leadership Academy, a board of 8 elite students are the ins and outs of Generation Inspiration.
These students meet every month to plan events, discuss the future needs of the organization, discuss what is going on in our community, plan community service opportunities and a whole lot more. The Generation Inspiration Board is called to a higher expectation of service. Under our [G.I Constitution] students hold each other accountable to ensure we pay proper attention to our community and the values set before them by previous G.I Generations.
The G.I board plans, produces and operates multiple fundraisers, community service events, team building exercises, and meets regularly to discuss innovative ways to improve the Gainesville, GA community.
Operation Un-Tag Gainesville
5 years ago Generation Inspiration came to the realization that we need to truly take pride in our community. A city that was once riddled with graffiti and gang - tagging, has now been transformed into a graffiti - free Gainesville.
However, our work is never over. Gang graffiti is a non stop problem in our city, one that the police department and the City of Gainesville cannot solve alone.
So the young leaders of Generation inspiration have risen to the occasion to constantly keep our city as clean as it can be!
But when it's just student's un-tagging our great city, a financial obligation of this size is not something they can take on by themselves. That's why we need your help to provide the funds and resources to keep our city clean.
